| Characteristics | This is an east-facing field at an altitude of 280 meters, surrounded by a fence. 0.44 ha with limestone soil. The tree was planted in 1943. It is located at the southern end of Gevray-Chambertin, adjacent to Maji-Chambertin. 80% of the plot is owned by Drouhin Larose and is close to Monopole. Aged in 40% new barrels and once used barrels. Aromas of red and black fruits mixed with hints of spice. In the mouth, you can feel more cherry, vanilla, and raspberry aromas. Fresh, rounded, silky body. These delicate aromas and fruit flavors linger on the finish. Pairs well with grilled meats and mild cheeses. |
